Upgraded Benton Park including new children’s playground with equipment supplied by Playworld Systems; ADA accessible paved walking paths; park benches; LED lighting; water supply pipe network to all picnic pavilions with hydrants; ADA van accessible parking; and a high voltage electrical supply.
The project was constructed by Chilewski Enterprises of Fleetville, PA. Funding sources included the Borough’s Park fund, DCNR Growing Greener Program, the Berwick Community Foundation and public/community organization donations.
