Brady Township Municipal Building

Brady Township, Lycoming County
COMPLETED: 2004

B constructionBassett Engineering designed, bid and provided construction phase engineering including inspection for a new 2,200 sq. ft., two-story building, serving as the Lead Professional from inception to completion. Wolfe & Associates provided Architectural Services including Structural, Electrical, Plumbing, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.

 

Site improvements included grading, paving, sidewalk,B construction2 stormwater management and utility connections. Parking includes the appropriate number of handicap spaces and the lot is graded meeting the slope restrictions for handicap parking. The parking and drive were arranged to smoothly transition to the adjacent lot for the old Municipal Building, which remains in service as the Maintenance Garage.

 

This fully ADA-compliant building includes a large Supervisors Meeting Room, Planning Commission Meeting Room,  secretary’s office, document storage, and a handicap-accessible restroom. An open basement provides space for community activities. The basement exits at grade, with a roll-up door to store lawn equipment.
