The work in this project included, Water Street to Laurel Road (State Route 3002) for approximately 1,450 LF: saw cutting and full width milling the roadway to remove the existing asphalt; subbase preparation/grading; performing any needed utility box/valve and manhole adjustments; installing paving notches; placing a 2.5” thick 19.0mm Superpave HMA base course; tack coating; placing a 1.5” thick 9.5mm super HMA wearing course; maintaining and protecting traffic, reconstructing an existing adjacent roadside swale and all necessary incidental work, appurtenances and site restoration for said construction. The Contingent Bid item included performing any needed base repairs.
