Washingtonville Municipal Authority Wet Well

Bassett Engineering worked closely with the Washingtonville Municipal Authority to design improvements to the Authority’s Wetwell at the Wastewater Sewage Treatment Plant.
The improvements included: the installation of a new pump, new control wiring elevated above the high water level, the addition of the ultrasonic level transducer, lining of the well, installation of a new hoist and ladder, and structural improvements to the platform including aluminum grating and supports.
Additionally, the electrical junction box was replaced, the inside walls of the wet well were painted, and adjustments were made to bypass pumping around the wet well to complete the improvements.
